My A to Z of Christmas

Hello, my lovelies! Welcome to the fourth day of Blogmas and you can check out the previous posts here. I will be doing something that I’ve seen a couple of people do and I just love it. This is My A to Z of Christmas which is basically what Christmas means to me as it’s my favorite time of the year. Trying to think of something that begins with every single letter of the alphabet is hard.

Advent

No matter how much of an adult or child you are. You can’t have Christmas without an advent calendar. These day’s they make none chocolate ones and it makes everything so much better. Unfortunately, I’m not patient enough to wait the full 24 days!

Bar

A tradition when I was in Ireland is that we would go to the bar every Christmas Eve. We would meet up with family friends, exchange presents, look for Santa in the sky and just have a good time.

Cards

I love sending out Christmas Cards. I love writing them out for myself and/or my family as writing is one of my favorite things to all year round rather than just a Christmas favorite of mine. If anyone wants to send me cards; love receiving cards and hanging them up around my house.

Decor

I love decorating my living space. Christmas Decor in stores is also my favorite thing to go and look at. I sneakily pick some up and put them into the cart without my husband noticing.

Elf

This is one of my all time favorite Christmas Movies and it ain’t Christmas without it. I cannot wait to watch it with my husband this year!

Gifts

People say that you shouldn’t like Christmas because you receive gifts. I love Christmas because I give gifts and I also receive them. Nothing beats, someone actually liking their presents.

Home

I’m not the kind of person who goes out at night time but the Winter nights staying at home, by the fire and watching a movie is the best feeling ever. No one can tell me different!

Indulgence

Christmas time is the perfect time for everyone to indulge themselves in things that you wouldn’t normally. I can’t wait to indulge on all of the food and chocolate!

Joy

If you have kids, nieces or nephews, or younger siblings you will know exactly what I mean. The joy of seeing the little one’s who still believe, opening all the gifts. This just brings me pure joy and happiness.

Kindness

This has been a very big part of my Christmas pasts and I know for a fact it’s going to be part of my future one’s also. Kindness is so important to have during the holiday season.

Lights

When I was younger and even since having Willow, I love going to see all the Christmas Lights. Whether it’s just local houses or at a light event. It’s always the best time other than being cold!

Movies

I’ve been watching Christmas movies since the start of November. I have a list of Christmas Movies that I always watch at Christmas. I have to always watch them all before Christmas Eve and then re-watch one on Christmas Eve.

North

Ever since I’ve been a little one, the word North always reminds me of the North Pole. The North Pole is something that is important in people’s lives at one stage or another.

Occasion

Christmas is an occasion that happens once a year and it’s one of the few things that we know for a fact that it’s happening. It’s my favorite Occasion of every year.

Parcel

We all know how that online shopping does be as it’s so much easier than going to the store where there is a million people. Christmas and parcels just go hand in hand.

Quality

Christmas is Family time. Spending some quality time with family members and close friends is one of the best thing’s about Christmas.

Red

I know red is such a Christmas color but it’s my favorite color for the Holiday Season. I will have at least one thing red on my tree, door or somewhere around the house.

Stockings

Stockings and Christmas has just been a thing since I was about one years old. I just don’t know how people would have Christmas without them!

Tree

I made sure me and my husband had our tree up before the end of November. Christmas Tree’s has been something so important in relation to the Holiday. Where is Santa going to be putting the gifts if there’s no Christmas Tree?!

Ugly Sweaters

I may not wear an Ugly Christmas Sweater but I do love seeing them on other people while I’m out and about!

Vacation

Christmas has always been a holiday (vacation) and ninety-nine percent of people have the day off. Just imagine having to go to work or school on Christmas Day and everything is open?!

Warmth

Christmas is the time for open fires, new pajama’s and hot chocolate.

X-Mas

Christmas has never been religious for me (I don’t think) and probably will never be. Happy X-Mas has been a phrase I have used for a good number of years.

Yule

I love me some cake and Christmas is a time where I eat a lot of Yule Log. Yule Log is always one of the first thing’s I buy as a treat for myself.

Zzzzzzzz

Christmas Time and sleeping is a love/hate relationship for me. I never used to stay up late and then I started and sleep seems to be very limited on the lead up to Christmas.
