What I’m Watching February Edition

What are you watching this February? I’ve compiled a list of some great shows and movies that I think you’ll love. Whether you’re a fan of action, comedy, or romance, I’ve got something for you. So sit back, relax, and get ready to be entertained!

Evil (Paramount)

Kristen Bouchard, a skeptical psychologist, joins David Acosta, who is training to be a Catholic priest, and a blue collar contractor as they investigate the church’s backlog of unexplained mysteries, including supposed miracles, demonic possessions and other extraordinary occurrences. They job is to assess if there is a logical explanation or if something truly supernatural is at work by examining the origins of evil along the dividing line between science and religion. Robert and Michelle King created the series.

Teen Wolf (Hulu)

In a more mysterious, complicated way, the high-school anonymity Scott McCall was trying to break free from couldn’t have happened. Scott’s life is forever changed when he encounters a creature while walking in the woods one night and is bitten in the side. He is a werewolf. Would you like some coffee or tea? He’s afraid that the strange urges he now feels could end up controlling him, and that is the toughest part. As Scott can’t get enough of the mischievous Allison, will the bite be a gift or a curse?

Intervention (Hulu)

This reality series has a timely feel with its depiction of addicts and the impact their illness has on those around them, resulting in an inevitable if uncomfortable intervention, with seemingly every other Hollywood celebrity checking him or herself into or out of a recovery center.

Pawn Stars (YouTube)

This series opens the doors to the only family-run pawnshop in Las Vegas, where three generations of the Harrison family use their sharp-eyed skills to assess what’s real and what’s fake. The objects that the colourful customers bring in to the shop range from the obscure to the truly historic, and it’s up to the guys at the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop – with help at times from their network of experts – to reveal the sometimes surprising answer to the question, `What’s this worth?
